Security Guards

A national security company is looking for professional and reliable licensed Crowd Controllers to work at licensed venues and nightclubs/bars in Taupo. This role requires good common sense, strong communication skills, confidence, and the ability to manage patrons in a fast-paced nightlife environment. (If you do not have a COA but are keen to become a Security Guard then please still get in touch as training can be arranged for suitable candidates.) Key Responsibilities: Crowd control and venue security Managing patron entry and behaviour De-escalation and conflict management Physical intervention when lawful and required Maintaining a visible and professional security presence Incident reporting *If you do not have a COA but are keen to become a Security Guard then please still get in touch as training can be arranged for suitable candidates. These roles will start on casual contracts prior to move to permanent part time contracts. Pay is $24.00+ per hour based on skills and experience. Higher with COA certification.

Valid NZ Security Licence (COA) - (Training and certification can be arranged for suitable candidates with the skills and availability below.) Previous crowd control or security experience preferred Strong communication and conflict management skills Physically fit and well-presented Ability to work late nights and weekends and public holidays Clean criminal record Reliable and punctual Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a MOJ check Two work references required must be based in either Taupo/Turangi and must have own reliable transport
