Duty Manager

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join a busy and hospitality venue in the heart of Oneroa. This is a hands on role for someone who enjoys leading from the floor and delivering consistently high service standards.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day floor and shift management of Front of House operations. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Head Chef, you will help ensure a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience for all guests.
Key duties include:
* Oversee Front of House operations during service * Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service * Assist with the day-to-day running of the venue * Train, support, and lead new team members through onboarding * Maintain high standards of cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations * Keep menus accurate and up to date * Manage and operate the POS system * Support a positive and efficient team environment

Job Requirements
* Have at least two years of relevant experience or hold NZQF Diploma (ANZCO Skill Level 2) *Duty Managers Certificate would be a bonus but not essential *Must have excellent communication skills and leadership skills *Must be flexible to work weekends and public holidays as required *Must have a reliable transport to get to and from location

- Flexible to work on rostered shifts across 7 days - Days, nights, weekends & public holidays. Hours between (8am - 10pm) (30 hours per week)
