Kiwifruit orchard workers are required for harvest and winter pruning work. Harvest expected start date March 2026 - Mid June leading into winter pruning till September 2026

Work locations: Tauranga areas: Welcome Bay, Matapihi, Pyes Pa Road Te Puna as well as Katikati (North of Tauranga) and Pongakawa (between Te Puke and Pukehina)

Experience not essential as full training provided however you must have a reasonable level of fitness as you will be on your feet for long periods and working with arms above shoulder height. You will be carrying a picking bag on front weighing up to 25 kgs when full. This leads into winter pruning - experience pruners preferred. Successful applicants will be reliable, enjoy working outdoors in a multicultural team, hold a minimum of a restricted drivers’ licence and have own transport for work.

Job Requirements

- Have own reliable transport to travel to various work / orchard locations across the Bay of Plenty - Hold minimum Restricted Driver Licence - Flexibility required as work is weather dependent - available to work every fine day between (Monday to Sunday - 8am to 5pm) - Experience preferred however not essential as training provided - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, with Reasonable Cause testing also conducted - Minor convictions considered - case by case
