Traffic Controller
About this job
As a Traffic Management Operative, your role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians around construction and civil works sites. You'll be responsible for setting up, managing, and removing temporary traffic control systems while complying with all industry regulations and legal standards.
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills: - Strong understanding of health and safety practices on worksites - Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving equipment and standing for extended periods - Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions - Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team - Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with the public and colleagues - A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the civil construction industry Licences & Requirements - Full Class 1 driver’s licence (required) - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test - Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice check - Able to provide two professional references

- Monday to Friday, hours will vary. Night shift may be required. (45 hours per week)
