A Manukau-based bed and mattress employer is looking for a skilled carpenter to join their team.
As a carpenter for this family-owned business, you will be: - Cutting, preparing, and assembling timber components - Building bed base frames and slat systems - Operating saws, drills, nail guns, and other woodworking tools and taking care of tools - Maintaining accuracy, consistency, and quality across all units - Working to meet daily production targets in a fast paced environment
Job Requirements
- At least 6 months of carpentry or woodworking experience - The ability to read measurements - Confident using power tools and workshop machinery - A reliable, detail focused, and safety conscious personality - Experience in furniture manufacturing is a bonus - Ability to pass a Ministry of Justice check and pre-employment drug test
- Days of work
- Monday to Friday, between 8am and 7pm. Additional hours may be available. (30 hours per week)
