Scaffolder - Qualified Intermediate or Advanced

A Wellington company is looking for a Qualified Intermediate or Advanced Scaffolder to join their team at their Moa Point site.

Responsibilities for the role:

• Erecting, altering and dismantling scaffolding structures to industry standards and regulations. • Preparing and inspecting scaffolding equipment to ensure safety and compliance. • Working collaboratively with construction teams to support project timelines and milestones. • Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all scaffolding work - when leading hand absent Identifying and resolving any scaffolding-related issues or risks on site. • Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced team members. • Assisting other trades on construction site to enable completion of their tasks. • Strong knowledge of scaffolding regulations, safety protocols and industry best practices. • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address site challenges. • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients and other tradespeople. • A commitment to workplace health and safety

• Skilled scaffolder - Minimum 1 year of work experience. • Current NZ scaffolding licence – Intermediate or Advanced required. • General construction labourer with a strong work ethic and reliability. • Physically fit and safety minded. • Positive, team-focused attitude. • Unrestricted driver's license. • Must pass drug and alcohol testing at induction • No pre-existing injuries that would prevent you from working in a physically demanding, on-site role.
