Experienced Drainage Staff

We are seeking motivated and experienced Drainage Staff to join our civil construction team. This role involves assisting with and completing drainage works on residential, commercial, and subdivision projects. You will be working with a skilled crew to install, repair, and maintain stormwater and wastewater systems while meeting quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of stormwater and wastewater drainage systems Trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and compaction Reading and interpreting drainage plans and site drawings Operating tools, machinery, and equipment safely Supporting site supervisors and drainlayers with daily tasks Completing daily reports and maintaining site documentation Ensuring all work meets compliance and safety requirements

Requirements
Proven experience in drainage work (civil drainage preferred) Knowledge of NZ standards for drainage and installation processes Ability to work in trenches and perform physical tasks Strong focus on health & safety Full NZ Driver Licence (minimum Restricted; Full preferred) Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions Reliability, good attitude, and willingness to learn Your own transport to site
