About this job
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Skilled Civil Operator. You will be responsible for operating a range of civil machinery to support earthworks, roading, drainage, and general civil construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery such as excavators, loaders, rollers, graders, and dump trucks Carry out civil works including bulk earthworks, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation Read and interpret plans and follow site instructions Perform daily pre-starts and basic maintenance on equipment Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure safe and efficient operations Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company policies
Job Requirements
Experience in civil machine operation Competency and experience operating excavators (add other machines as needed) WTR endorsements and a full NZ driver licence (or close equivalent) Strong understanding of health & safety practices Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment Good attitude, reliability, and willingness to pitch in where needed Physically fit and able to complete labouring tasks when required
