About this job
A friendly Brightwater employer needs strong workers for apple platform picking roles for the harvest season. This role involves working on a mechanical platform (shaded) and does not involve the carrying of heavy picking bags up and down ladders. Teamwork is essential as you will be working cooperatively with others to pick the apples at different heights along the rows. The role is working on a mechanical platform to pick apples.
Work is from approx. 23 Feb until end April.
Job Requirements
Strength is required to move the heavy machinery at the end of each row.
Workers must be able to: • Commit to a full season • Reliability is key - Must be able to work full days • Have own Reliable transport • Physically fit to be able to stand all day, work in heat, etc • Must be able to pass an MoJ check and a Drug Test
