Metal Fascia Conversion Installer

Onehunga-based employer seeking an experienced labourer for roof plumbing to join the team. In this role, you will use your trade skills, knowledge, and experience to convert existing internal metal gutter systems to modern RIGS external metal fascia systems.

Your responsibilities will also include the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial spouting, fascia, and downpipe systems. All work must be completed in accordance with contract specifications, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

- Install new spouting, guttering, and fascia systems in accordance with consented council-approved building plans - Assess buildings to determine roofing layouts, identify water damage, and calculate required materials - Dismantle and remove existing rainwater systems, replacing water-damaged timber framing where necessary - Carry out repairs to exterior wall cladding, including door and window frames as required - Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and fit materials to a high standard - Verify framework and roof structures for accuracy, alignment, and compliance - Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations and building standards

• Must have 2 years + experience in spouting/fascia & downpipe installation • Must have 2 years + experience in Internal/External Gutter conversion work or the RIGS Fascia Conversion System • Knowledge in roofing installation and types of materials used • Confident and safe working at heights • Strong practical skills and attention to detail • Demonstrate competency in carpentry work • Ability to read job sheets, building plans and follow specifications • Must pass MOJ and Drug test • Reliable transport to commute
