Team Supervisor

We are seeking an 3 year - experienced and motivated Team Supervisor to lead orchard picking operations during the apple harvest season.

This role involves supervising, training, and supporting a team of pickers to ensure fruit is picked to quality standards and that ladders and equipment are used correctly and safely at all times. The Team Supervisor will monitor performance, provide on-the-job guidance, and ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed across the orchard. A key responsibility of this role is accurately recording daily production, attendance, and quality information using a tablet or digital system.

The successful candidate will act as a point of contact between orchard management and picking teams, helping to maintain efficient workflows and a positive team environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead by example are essential. Previous orchard or supervisory experience is preferred. Reliability and a proactive approach are critical to success in this role.

Applicants for the Supervisor role must have previous experience in horticulture and hold relevant qualifications suitable for a leadership position. While prior supervisory experience is preferred, training will be provided to support successful candidates in meeting role expectations. Applicants must have their own reliable transport to and from the orchard. Candidates must have no medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely carry out the duties outlined in the job description. A pre-employment urine drug test will be required.
