Horticulture Truck Driver

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Class 4–5 Truck Driver to support horticultural operations during the harvest and production season. This role involves transporting empty fruit bins to orchards and collecting full fruit bins for delivery to packhouses or processing plants in a safe and timely manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all required transport and delivery documentation accurately. A strong understanding of Health and Safety practices is essential, including safe loading, unloading, and compliance with site-specific rules. Drivers must ensure all legal requirements for heavy vehicle operation are followed at all times, including logbooks, licensing, and road regulations. This role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Previous experience in horticulture or agricultural transport is an advantage. Reliability, professionalism, and a safety-first attitude are key to success in this role.

Applicants must have a minimum of three seasons’ experience in truck driving, preferably within the horticulture or agricultural sector. A current Class 4–5 truck driving licence is required, along with a full Class 1 driver licence. Candidates must have no medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely carry out the duties outlined in the job description. Successful applicants must pass a pre-employment urine drug test. Applicants must have no criminal convictions, including sexual assault or serious violence offences. A valid CV is preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process. Strong knowledge of road safety, legal driving requirements, and Health and Safety practices is essential.
