Forklift Driver

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to assist with the loading and handling of apple bins for transport and distribution.

This role involves operating a forklift to stack, move, and load bins of apples onto trucks efficiently and securely.

The successful candidate will follow specific instructions and loading requirements as outlined by clients, ensuring each load meets order specifications. Responsibilities include positioning bins correctly, maintaining load stability, and working closely with drivers and team members to meet delivery schedules. A strong focus on safety is essential, including compliance with workplace procedures and forklift operating standards. Candidates must hold a valid forklift licence and demonstrate confidence operating equipment in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in agricultural, warehouse, or logistics settings is desirable. Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions are key to success in this role.

Applicants must hold a current forklift OSH certificate or F endorsement and be confident operating forklifts in a working environment. Candidates must have their own reliable transport to and from the worksite. Applicants must not have any previous or current medical conditions that could affect their ability to safely perform job duties. A pre-employment urine drug test is required, and applicants must pass to be considered. Successful candidates must have no criminal convictions, including sexual assault or serious violence offences. CVs are preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process. Reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions are essential.
