Apple picker

We are seeking motivated and reliable Apple Pickers to join our orchard team for the harvest season. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for carefully picking apples by hand and placing them into bins, ensuring fruit is handled gently to maintain quality and minimize damage. You will work outdoors in orchard environments, following picking guidelines and quality standards to ensure only suitable fruit is selected.

Apple picking requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods. You will be expected to follow health and safety procedures, use equipment correctly, and work cooperatively with supervisors and fellow team members. This role involves working alongside individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and contributes directly to the success of the harvest. Applicants must have their own reliable transport and be able to travel to and from the worksite independently. Applicants should be able to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and demonstrate a positive attitude toward workplace health and safety. Flexibility with working hours, including early starts, extended days, or weekend work, may be required. Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and varying weather is essential.
