A New Zealand–owned and operated hotel located in the Auckland Airport precinct is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team on a full-time basis. The role involves working across both the a la carte restaurant and conference/function facilities, delivering high-quality food and consistent service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation and service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in line with hotel standards • Ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation • Adhering to recipes, portion control, and plating guidelines • Coordinating with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service • Maintaining compliance with all health and safety requirements

Job Requirements
• Fully qualified chef with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience (intermediate level: 2–4 years) • Proficient across all kitchen sections, with experience in modern, high-end cuisine and function catering • Passionate culinary professional who keeps up to date with food trends • Strong focus on enhancing guest experience through quality food and service • Proven experience adhering to health and safety regulations • Professional communicator with strong multitasking skills • Flexible to work rostered AM/PM shifts, including weekends and evenings • Team player with the ability to support, motivate, and train junior chefs • Full driver licence and own transport advantageous due to limited public transport • Must be able to pass pre-employment checks (MOJ, drug test, and references)
