A world leader in travel retail are looking for passionate Bartenders to join the upcoming Food & Beverage Bar operation at Auckland International Airport.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment, delivering exceptional service to travellers from all over the world while upholding strong brand and service standards.
Due to the airports 24/7 trading environment, flexibility to work a rotating roster - including early mornings, late nights or overnight, weekends, and public holidays - is essential.
What you will do In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages while creating a welcoming and engaging customer experience.
Key responsibilities include: • Comply with all work health and safety WHS, food safety and hygiene policies and procedures. • Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and other beverages in line with brand standards. • Greeting and engaging customers with a friendly, professional attitude. • Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-prepared bar area. • Attending to customer orders efficiently and within service timeframes. • Serving snacks and supporting food service at the bar. • Opening and closing bar service and supporting overall bar operations. • Ensure all alcohol service is in adherence with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. • Maintaining bar equipment and reporting maintenance or safety issues. • Monitor all stock levels of the food and beverage items, always ensuring adequate levels. • Providing excellent customer service. • Assisting other areas of the operation as required.
Below are the shifts for 4 roles: 1. Sun to Thu: 4am - 12:30pm 2. Mon:12.30pm - 9pm, Tue: 2:30pm - 11pm, Wed: 12:30pm - 9pm, & Fri/Sat: 4am – 12:30pm 3. Thu to Sun: 12:30pm - 9pm & Mon: 2:30pm - 11pm 4. Wed - Sun: 6am - 2:30pm

Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will bring: • Technical training or education in bartending. • At least 2 years experience as a bartender. • Must pass all pre-employment checks. (MoJ, drug, reference) • Must have full license and own transportation • Strong knowledge of cocktails, beverages, and service techniques. • Must have LCQ certificate • Preferred if the candidates have Duty Managers Certificate or willingness to obtain. • Solid understanding of food safety and handling requirements. • Professional presentation and positive customer-focused attitude. • Strong teamwork skills, integrity, and a willingness to learn.
