Food & Beverage Attendant

A global leader in travel retail are seeking 4 Full Time enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendants to join the Food and Beverage Bar operation at Auckland International Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment, delivering exceptional service to travellers from all over the world while upholding strong brand and service standards. Due to the airports 24/7 trading environment, flexibility to work a rotating roster - including early mornings, late nights or overnight, weekends, and public holidays - is essential.

What youll do In this role, youll create a warm and welcoming experience for every customer while supporting a variety of front-of-house service tasks.

Key responsibilities include: • Provide high-quality customer service, attending to customers courteously and professionally. • Provide excellent customer service. • Receive and process orders both on-site and to-go, ensuring accuracy and speed. • Serve food and coffee to customers. • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including tables and chairs. • Collaborate in opening and closing the bar, following established procedures. • Operate the cash register and process transactions. • Support the organisation of special events and bar functions. • Comply with all work health and safety WHS, food safety and hygiene policies and procedures. • Participate in store or bar stock takes.

Below are the shifts for 4 roles: Sun to Thu: 4am - 12:30pm Tue to Thu: 6am - 2:30pm & Fri or Sat: 4am - 12:30pm Thu to Mon: 1:30pm - 10pm Mon, Fri, Sat: 6am - 2:30pm & Tue, Wed: 12:30pm - 9pm

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: 1–2 years’ experience in the food and beverage sector Must pass Ministry of Justice check, drug test and pre-employment checks Must have full driver license and own transportation due to rotating roster and shifts Numerical aptitude Previous experience handling money High attention to detail Strong focus and concentration Strong organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Customer-service oriented approach Ability to work effectively under pressure Punctual, reliable, and efficient
