Small Engine Mechanic

A full time permanent position has become available for a Small Engine Mechanic in Motueka. Your duties will include servicing and repairs of concrete saws, lawnmowers, ride on mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, pumps and generators. We are looking for someone that is highly mechanically mind. The position is based at the workshop, and every now and then you may be called out to work on orchards. You will be meeting and greeting customers, and computer work is also required. Angle grinders, 2762 Bench saws, 2676 Cordless drills, 2820 Cordless screwdrivers, 2682 Electric drills, 2855 Nail guns, 2856 Nail hammers, 13335 Small hand tools

Qualifications are an advantage, however not essential if you are experienced. This role may also suit an Automotive Mechanic who is willing to learn the small engine side of things as full training can be provided for the right candidate. (You still must be experienced in mechanical industry). Computer skills are an advantage, and you will need to have the ability to deal with the public. Training/Study opportunities to up skill may be available. Must have your full Class 1 Drivers Licence.
