Voice picker Chiller work

The Voice Picker is responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Using voice-recognition technology, the picker navigates the warehouse, ensures inventory accuracy, and prepares goods for shipment while maintaining high safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment: Receiving verbal instructions via headset for item locations, quantities, and descriptions.

Voice Interaction: Confirming "check digits" (specific numbers on shelves) and quantities by speaking into the headset to move to the next task.

Material Handling: Operating manual or electric pallet jacks, trolleys, or forklifts to move picked items through the warehouse.

Quality Control: Checking for damaged packaging and ensuring the correct product is selected to maintain high order accuracy.

Packing & Labeling: Stacking items securely on pallets (heavy items at the bottom) and applying shipping labels or shrink-wrapping loads for transport.

Inventory Management: Reporting stock shortages or discrepancies to supervisors through the voice system.

Required Skills & Qualifications Communication: Clear speech is essential for the voice-recognition software to function correctly.

Physical Fitness: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts and lift weights (often up to 15–25kg).

Mathematical Ability: Basic counting skills and the ability to read numbers quickly and accurately.

Attention to Detail: High focus on accuracy to ensure the correct products are sent to customers.

Equipment Certification: A valid Forklift or Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) license is often required or highly preferred.

Working Conditions Environment: Can range from standard ambient warehouses to cold storage (chillers or freezers), where specialized thermal gear is provided.

Technology-Heavy: Continuous use of a headset and a waist-mounted battery pack/computer.
