Assistant Retail Store Manager

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Retailer who has stepped into 2iC duties previously, ready to take a step up on a more permanent/fulltime basis. You'll be joining a very popular brand that has been around for decades looking to elevate them in the Wellington market whilst benefiting from some attractive staff perks.
In this role you will: - provide leadership and management for the store - motivate and empower staff to achieve targets - enhance and bring new ideas to lift sales - provide coaching and training for staff - support Store Manager to maximise sales opportunities
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have: - at least 3-5 years experience in retail - unwavering positive energy and attitude - strong leadership capabilities and/or management experience in a retail store - excellent communication and engagement skills - passion for the retail industry and innovative thinking - some coaching and training experience will be advantageous - need to be available for weekend work
