Employment Support Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Employment Support Specialist to work closely with clients, their families/whanau, and community partners. This role involves supporting clients in finding employment, providing guidance, and facilitating access to community resources. Key Responsibilities: • Liaise with stakeholders and community partners to create opportunities for clients. • Recruit clients from Work and Income and community sources. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs and goals. • Source suitable job vacancies and opportunities for clients. • Provide one-on-one support to clients and their family/whanau throughout the employment process. • Network with employers to develop and maintain employment opportunities. • Deliver pre- and post-placement support to ensure successful employment outcomes. • Maintain accurate records of client progress and prepare activity reports. • Conduct interviews with clients and their family/whanau as needed. • Collaborate closely with the Employment Facilitator to coordinate services. • Facilitate client access to relevant community services and resources.

• Experience working with people with disabilities or health conditions • Experience working with Maori and Pacific peoples • Strong interpersonal, communication, and administration skills • Full Driver’s Licence Class 1 • Social Work or related background • Must pass Police Vetting and drug test
