Baker

Taupo's biggest destination Cafe and Cakery is on the lookout for a (preferably experienced) Baker to join its energetic and enthusiastic team. You will be Preparing and mixing ingredients to the highest standards Operating and maintaining baking equipment to ensure consistent and efficient production Ensuring all products meet the company's quality standards Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Collaborating with the team to identify process improvements and enhance productivity Assisting with inventory management and stock control Pay is based on skills and experience. Training can be provided to the right candidate if required.

Experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef is preferred Strong practical skills in baking, including the ability to follow recipes and use a range of equipment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality Customer service skills Physically fit Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced production environment Qualifications in Baking or Patisserie would be advantageous Must be available weekends and public holidays Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests whilst working
