Support Worker
About this job
We are seeking caring, reliable Support Workers to provide home and community support to clients in the Gore area. This work makes a real difference—helping people live independently, safely, and with dignity in their own homes. -You will support clients with everyday tasks including-personal cares, household support and community outings. Duties may include -Personal cares (showering, dressing, hygiene support) -Meal preparation and basic home help -Medication prompts (if required) -Helping clients attend appointments or access their community -Friendly companionship and wellbeing support
Job Requirements
-Empathetic, patient and dependable nature -Strong communication skills and professionalism -Restricted or Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport -Comfortable travelling between client homes -Able to pass relevant background checks -A smartphone for rostering and communication
