Barista
About this job
Taupo's biggest destination Cafe and Cakery is looking for a (preferably experienced) Barista to join their busy team. They're a seven days a week operation and it's a fast-paced environment. Although your main role will be serving up delicious hot beverages, you will be required to help out clearing tables, serving, cleaning etc as needed - Training is provided to help polish up your skills and learn new skills.
Pay is based on skills and experience.
Job Requirements
1- Have Barista experience OR completed a Barista Training course 2- Be Well presented and have good Customer Service skills 3- Be able to stand on your feet all day and work well under pressure 4- Be willing and able to work 5 days a week, rostered across all 7 days, including Weekends and Public Holidays. 5- Be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests carried out during work time 6- Consent to an MOJ Check.
Previous experience in a Cafe (or similar) environment is desirable.

- Five days per week Available Monday-Sunday and public holidays for rostered work 8am -4pm, Min of 25 hrs/week (25 hours per week)
