Courier Driver

If you're looking for an opportunity to start your driving career, this role is for you! A new Courier Driver position is available in Wellington, where you'll need to drive a company vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations, whilst following assigned routes and schedules.

What you'll need to do: • Prioritise the timely and safe delivery of packages to clients and businesses. • Confirm and document orders before departure and upon arrival. • Assist in the efficient loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage. • Maintain organised records of deliveries, including signed receipts and delivery notes. • Plan and adjust daily routes to maximise fuel efficiency and reduce travel time. • Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues or delays promptly. • Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep, reporting any mechanical issues immediately. • Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing client inquiries. • Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.

• Available to start as early as 5:30 am. • Must be able to work on weekends. • Must have a valid Full driver's license. • Must pass drug and alcohol tests. • Must have a clean driving record. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. • Self-motivated and a passionate individual • Hardworking individual • Physically fit and capable of handling the demands of the role.

The successful candidate will be required to travel within the Wellington region in which the cost of travel and fuel will be covered by the employer!
