Assistant Restaurant Manager

Oversee daily front of house operations, including reservations, seating, and guest flow Lead, coach, and schedule front of house staff (servers, hosts, bar team) to ensure consistent, high quality service
Monitor guest feedback and address issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and repeat business. Partner with the Head Chef on menu roll outs, specials, and events, ensuring smooth execution
Manage inventory of front of house supplies (glassware, linens, stationery) and coordinate timely reorders with suppliers. Administer the POS system: train staff, generate sales reports, and reconcile cash takings Enforce health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations Assist with financial tracking, including daily takings, labour costs, and budget adherence
Job Requirements
In-depth knowledge of Indian & Nepalese cuisine, ability to work under pressure, NZ work rights, food safety certification. Minimum experience 3 year+ in a similar position Duty Managers certification is a must.
