A global aviation services company providing a range of ground-handling and support services in the Auckland Airport Precinct is seeking Ramp Agents.
The Ramp Agent is responsible for the safe, efficient, and on-time turnaround of aircraft. This role involves loading and unloading aircraft, operating ground service equipment, and ensuring all ramp activities comply with safety, security, airline customer requirements as well as Airport Workers rules set by Auckland International Airport.
Main accountabilities include: Baggage Assist with the operation of the automated Baggage Handling System Receive, weigh (where applicable), and deliver crew baggage and personal effects to and from aircraft Safely, securely, and correctly stow baggage on departing aircraft Unload arriving baggage in line with inbound load messages and deliver baggage to designated areas Use two-way radio equipment correctly and maintain constant communication with the operation
Cargo Unload arriving cargo and hand over to the Cargo team Operate forklifts and mechanical lifting equipment Receive and accept export freight, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with IATA, airline, and regulatory requirements Break down imported freight, ensuring quantities and condition match the manifest Work collaboratively with flight operations teams on aircraft arrival and departure, including opening and closing aircraft doors and preparing aircraft stands Correct use and operation of two-way radio ensuring maintaining radio contact with the operation at all times

Job Requirements
Must have Full New Zealand Class 1 Driver's License Flexible and available for 24/7 shift work which includes early starts, late finishes, weekend, and public holiday work Must pass all the pre-employment checks (MoJ, Drug, reference, medical) Fluent in spoken and written English Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving abilities. Efficient, Reliable, and well presented. Technology savvy Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures (Ideal)
