Formwork Carpenter
About this job
We are seeking an experienced or qualified Carpenter with strong commercial and civil construction experience. You will be working on large formwork projects, utilising various formwork systems, reading plans, and assisting with setting out. Key Duties • Formwork carpentry using systems such as Doka, Perry, and AlTrads RMD • Shuttering and assisting with concrete pours • General civil labouring as required • Reading plans (preferred, not essential) and accurate formwork set-out • Confident using all hand and power tools, including high-risk tools such as concrete saws
Job Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in civil and commercial carpentry • Understanding of formwork systems (Doka and Perry) • Current Site Safe or Construct Safe is a must • Full set of tools • BCITO Level Qualified Carpenter or National Certificate in Concrete Construction Skills (advantageous and may be required for complex structures) • Able to work across all Auckland region • Monday to Friday, available to work weekends • Full driver licence preferred • Ability to pass police check and drug test
