Barista/FOH

A busy cafe in central New Plymouth is looking for a Barista / Front of House legend to join their team. The role will start casual, with the opportunity to move to around 25 hours per week once fully up and running.
What the role involves: • Making consistently great coffee (barista experience is a must) • Serving customers with a friendly, positive attitude • General front of house duties and keeping the cafe running smoothly
Hours and shifts: • Cafe hours are 9am – 5:30pm • Mostly middle shifts to start • Opportunity to move into opening and closing shifts • Weekend availability is essential
What they’re looking for: • Previous barista experience (non-negotiable) • Reliable, upbeat, and customer-focused • Comfortable in a fast-paced cafe environment • Drug-free and able to pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check • Must be available to work weekends
