Outdoor Crop Worker

As an Outdoor Crop Worker, your responsibilities include (but not limited to) maintaining crops, cuttings and packing the product to both company and customer specifications. Duties include:
• Planting vegetable seedlings with team on our planting machine, • Using appropriate machinery to undertake the planting of crops • Ground maintenance, • Assisting with harvesting and other general tasks. • Report any crop pest damage and machinery wear and tear
The work is spread across multiple sites throughout the Waimea plains, so own transport is essential. Applicants need to be reliable with a good attention to detail and be able to work with a wide range of people. Some lifting of 20kg produce crates is required for this role.

Job Requirements
Happy to work outdoors in all weathers. Class 1 Drivers License. Full or Restricted. Must have own reliable transport. Class 2 and F endorsement an advantage, but not essential Convictions will be considered on a case by case basis. No violence or dishonesty offences.

- Monday – Friday, 7.00am – 3.30pm plus Saturdays when required (40 hours per week)
