Warehouse Manager/ Team Leader

A Kerepehi based factory seeks a dynamic Warehouse Manager/ Team Leader to join their team! The principal duty of the Warehouse Manager is to organize and monitor inventory levels to maximize efficiency. The Manager must demonstrate skills, such as contract negotiation and organizational planning. This position is instrumental to the distribution of products in process chains, and to training employees to ensure a smooth process. The Manager may schedule employee shifts as well as organize the shipment and reception of products. The Manager is responsible in directing the overall safe and efficient movement of production, with strict adherence to RMP as well as company standards, throughout the production system. Must be drug and alcohol free and be able to be on your feet for long periods of time

• Promotes & ensures that all Occupational Health and Safety processes are observed and followed at all times to create and maintain a safe working environment • • Ensure the correct and safe use of all equipment & chemicals • • Ensure that all hazards identified are reported & notified to Supervisors by completing hazard report forms • • Ensure that all accidents, near misses, incidents are reported to Supervisors by completing accident/incident report forms • Contributes to the achievement of the requirements under the ACC partnership scheme • Contributes to the continuous improvement of workplace health & safety systems, processes and practices • Operation of touch screen machinery • Food manufacturing • Working in a hygienic environment / extreme temperature area • Continuous improvement experience • Experience in food, engineering or trades industries would be advantageous.
