Sockburn: We are looking for someone who can confidently wear both sales and marketing hats on!
This role will support the business sales and marketing operations, contributing to brand visibility and driving commercial success. You will play a key part in managing inventory-related tasks, executing digital marketing strategies, and enhancing customer engagement through content creation.
This role has the potential to lead to full-time hours for the right candidate!
Key Responsibilities:- Marketing & Sales Functions: - Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition. - Engage with potential and existing customers through various channels including email, phone, and social media. - Coordinate and represent the company in expos and events - Support and execute the creation of marketing campaigns, sales materials, and client proposals.
Digital Marketing & Content Creation: - Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.). - Capture and edit photos/videos for marketing campaigns and company events. - Analyse social media insights to improve campaign effectiveness and engagement.
Procurement and Inventory Management: - Assist with inventory monitoring, stock ordering, and supplier communication. - Maintain accurate inventory records and procurement documentation.
Job Requirements
- Confident in engaging with businesses and customers, and comfortable representing the company at expos across New Zealand with the Operations Manager. - Willingness to travel domestically for events and expos, most likely happening on weekends. - Has the flexibility on the working on weekends for the event/expo. - Proven experience in marketing and/or sales, preferably in a fast-paced or B2B environment. - Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field will be ideal, but not necessary. - Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools. - Proficiency with social media platforms, digital marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Meta Ads. Understanding of SEO/SEM principles. - Preferable someone experienced in procurement and inventory management. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Able to pass the MoJ check and drug test.
- Days of work
- Primarily in between Mon to Fri, up to three days per week. Sometimes Weekend work may be required for expos or events. (20 hours per week)

- $25-26.50 an hour depending on the experience + commission
