About this job
A Tauranga (Matua) residential aged care facility is seeking a Part-time Cleaner, to provide an efficient, effective cleaning service and ensure the facility is ship-shape, clean and hygienic. You will: - Assist with sorting, washing, drying and folding, and ensure that facility residents receive their clean, folded clothes in a timely manner. - Help create a comfortable, healthy environment for residents, while considering their wellbeing and individual needs.
Duties include: - Cleaning resident and communal areas - Utilising appropriate infection control measures - Restocking paper products, personal protective equipment (PPE), personal hygiene items - Assist with all laundry processing, i.e. sorting, washing to correct cycle, drying and folding - Follow the laundry task list as per facility policy - Ensuring that all tasks and check lists are completed and signed off

Job Requirements
Warm personality with excellent people skills and a positive attitude - Organised, with attention to detail - Reliable, and can work without supervision - Flexible availability - Experience in the industry preferred, but not essential * MOJ check required

- PART-TIME: 7am - 2pm. 4 days on, 4 days off (approx. 25h/wk) CASUAL: To cover sick & holiday leaves (variable) (25 hours per week)
