Orchard Hand – Fixed term only
About this job
We are seeking reliable and motivated Orchard Hands to join our team for the upcoming apple harvest season. This is a fixed-term role starting mid February, with harvest expected to run through to mid-April. The orchard is 30 mins from Timaru going north.
The Orchard Hand role covers various harvest-related tasks, and as interviews progress, suitable applicants may be considered for other roles within the harvest team depending on skills and fit.
No prior experience is required — full training will be provided.

Job Requirements
Be able to work in all weather conditions Be able to work 6 days a week Harvesting export-quality apples Using and managing harvest apple bags Carefully placing apples into bins to export standards Working as part of a team with a positive attitude Carrying out various orchard and harvest tasks as required Maintaining attention to detail to ensure fruit quality
