Electrical & Electronic Assembler

We are seeking full-time Electrical & Electronic Assemblers to work in a factory/production line environment in Onehunga. The role involves assembling components and sub-assemblies for mass-produced products, including electrical and electronic equipment, metal goods, automotive components, and other manufactured items. The position requires precision, attention to detail, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
● Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and technical drawings ● Prepare, align, and assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, soldering, or micro-welding equipment ● Fasten components by bolting, screwing, riveting, or soldering ● Inspect assemblies for quality and report defects or issues ● Prepare components for the next production stage ● Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Work Environment ● Factory or production line setting ● May involve repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and use of tools and machinery
Job Requirements
Specialisations ● Must have at least 1 year of expereince working on a production line. Preferably as: Automotive Assembler or Electrical and Electronic Assembler.
Skills and Attributes ● Ability to read and understand technical drawings and assembly instructions. ● Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity. ● Experience using hand tools and power tools. ● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. ● Ability to work efficiently in a production-line environment. ● Practical problem-solving skills.
Pre-Employment Requirements ● Drug Testing: Yes (mandatory). ● Criminal Convictions: Applicants with minimal criminal convictions may be considered, excluding theft-related offences.
