Caregiver - Redwood

As a Caregiver at Bupa Redwood, you will work under the guidance and supervision of qualified nursing staff and management, to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will be encouraged to develop deeper relationships with residents and their families, delivering the highest quality person first care to residents in line with their individual care plan.

Duties of a Caregiver include: -Provide personal care assistance with daily living, whilst treating residents with respect and dignity. -Mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans. -Maintain accurate health care documentation as required. -Encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities. -Contribute to the development of a positive, safe, home environment for residents, visitors, and the wider team.

We have a number of permanent positions available, working on a 4 days on, 2 days off 6-weekly rotating roster pattern (Mon-Sun). Many shift patterns are on offer, with hours varying from 9pw up to 30pw and can be mornings, afternoons and evenings- lots of options !

1- Consent to a Police Vetting check. Convictions will be considered case by case, apart from fraud or violence related . 2- Be willing and able to work across ALL 7 days of the week on a rotating roster system. 3- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ. 4- You will have some experience of aged care. 5- Have transport to get to work, unless living within walking distance. 6- Be fit and healthy enough for the duties described. Some lifting involved so pls be mindful of that if you have a bad back for instance.

While not required, an NZQA Health and Wellbeing Certificate Level 2-4 is an advantage.
