*** March start *** We have forklift operator positions available for the upcoming 2026 kiwifruit harvest season in a packhouse / cool store facility. These positions require a current OSH certificate – F is beneficial. Yard work – This involves unloading and loading trucks which requires great time management and being a great team player. Cool store – This work is in a cold environment and the employer provides the PPE gear for this. High lift work is involved. To be able to perform tasks in this area you require a good understanding of written English as well as having attention to detail. Packaging – This involves taking packages to the packhouse for packing purposes. It is important that you are proactive and able to use your initiative to ensure there are no disruptions to the packing. Bin Tip – Operating a forklift to load bins into the machine that tips the fruit from the bins. You need to be proactive and think ahead to ensure workflow is not disrupted. You will also be required to perform other packhouse tasks as required. All PPE gear is provided by the employer including Hi Vis gear required for these roles and safety footwear.
