We are looking for an experienced chef or sous-chef to join our team and hit the ground running - knowledge of the cuisine is preferred but not essential.
Your tasks may include but are not limited to: - Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines. - Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, including correct storage, temperature control, and cleanliness. - Collaborate with head chef and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and address customer needs
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef, Sous-chef, Cook, or in a similar commercial kitchen role - Proven ability to prepare dishes consistently and to a high standard. - Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods in a fast paced environment. - Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and safe work practices. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. - Flexibility with hours is required, as the restaurant closing times may vary based on customer demand - offering 30 hours minimum. - Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends would be advantageous, however, is open to discussion. - Convictions considered on a case-by-case basis
