Forklift Operator - fixed term

A Riwaka Orchard requires staff for their Motueka Apple Packhouse for the harvest season which starts 11 March. Forklift Duties: • Ensures all forklift operating is undertaken competently and safely in accordance with the company’s forklift safety policy • Undertakes daily pre-op checks of their forklift • Ensures all unloading and unloading of trucks is undertaken safely and in accordance with the company’s truck driver safe zone policy • Ensures all stacking of bins and packed product is undertaken in accordance with the company’s safe stacking policies • Monitors the safe operation of their forklift at all times and communicates promptly with their manager if any faults are detected
Hours may vary due to seasonal demand and production schedules. Full position description available on request.

• Must have F & OSH •You must be reliable. Criminal convictions considered.

- Work will be rostered. May include early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays due to operational requirements. (50 hours per week)
