We have 5 Duty Manager roles available in Taranaki Stores - Big Barrel Inglewood, Big Barrel New Plymouth, Big Barrel Devon Road, Big Barrel Stratford, Big Barrel Hawera.
How you will spend your days: • You will be responsible for overseeing store sales operations including stock control including inward and outward goods, business development along with the day to day running of a retail operation. • Manage and motivate your team to increase sales and ensure efficiency • Manage stock levels, ordering, stock control, and stock tracking. • Implement and execute the promotional programs of the business at a local level so that maximum customers can be attracted • Daily cash reconciliation, petty cash, and banking
Job Requirements
• Minimum 1yrs experience in retail is required • LCQ (License Controller Qualification), Managers Certificate, • Diploma in Business Level 5 or above is preferred • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Sharp business acumen • Ability to build rapport with coworkers and vendors • Must pass MOJ
