About this job
A motivated assembly person is sought by a locally owned and operated hi-tech pest trap manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have strong practical skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of their work area. Responsibilities include welding and assembly work, troubleshooting mechanical and equipment issues, experience operating lathes, mill, benders and drill presses plus contributing to improvements and developments within the manufacturing lines. Welding skills are essential along with bringing strong mechanical aptitude and mechanical skills, confidence in using both hand and power tools plus ability to work independently and as an effective team member. Hourly rate is indicative and relevant to experience brought to the role. What are we looking for: Ability to use hand and power tools Experience with mills, lathes, welding, press drills Attention to detail Reliability Team player Keen to learn Good communication skills and Health and Safety focused.
