We are looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our team. The role involves preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, providing excellent front-of-house customer service, and operating the till accurately. The Barista helps create a welcoming environment for customers while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the cafe.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to a consistent standard Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Operate the till and handle cash, EFTPOS, and other payments Maintain front-of-house cleanliness, including counters, tables, and display areas Assist customers with menu queries and make recommendations when needed Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety guidelines Support team members during busy periods There is a brief trial directly after the interview to see if you have what it takes
Skills & Attributes At least 2 years experience as a Barista Good customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic numeracy and confidence using a till or POS system Reliable, punctual, and well-presented Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
