Senior Waiter

Senior waiter needed for a Taupo based employer . Your Duties and responsibilities: • Setting and arranging tables indoor and outdoor • Act as an in charge of the front area, in absence of the restaurant manager • Assist manager in responding to the customer feedback/complaints • greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists • serving food and beverages • Update stock register and recommend the items requiring order • Verify the stocks delivered by the suppliers • taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff • opening bottles and pouring beverages • clearing tables and returning dishes and cuflbry to kitchen 6 removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables and refilling and replacing glasses. • collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers • may recommend wines to complement food. • cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurant.

Already having one LCQ license or ability to get one Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service/hospitality. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
