Labourers/ Hammerhand needed for a variety of commercial & residential building projects throughout Dunedin.
Duties will include carrying, loading and unloading Gib, tools and materials, assisting gib stoppers and other trades people with a variety of daily tasks as required, preparing work areas i.e. setting up scaffolding, ladder, drop sheets and protective/ safety equipment, assisting with sanding, patching and basic finishing tasks, cleaning/ maintaining tools, equipment and work areas and removing waste materials whilst adhering to and following health and safety procedures at all times.
Prior experience in a building/ construction type role is preferred along with some knowledge and experience working with a range of hand and power tools.
Applicants must have a Full drivers licence and reliable transport, be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and undergo a Ministry of Justice Criminal background check.
Job Requirements
Full drivers licence Prior experience in a similar building or construction setting. Experience with a range of hand and power tools. Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Ministry of Justice Criminal background check H&S focused with a strong work ethic.

- Monday- Friday 8am- 6pm (some Saturdays required ) (30 hours per week)
