Cleaning Lead - (Te Puke)

Do you have cleaning experience and a leader? We have a 12 month fixed term role to lead a small team of cleaners to perform daily cleaning tasks across the site, whilst maintaining a high level of hygiene at a Te Puke based kiwifruit packhouse facility. This will be night shiftwork during the main season and Monday - Friday day shift out of harvest season.
Clean facilities site-wide in a safe and efficient way, following health & safety and food safety requirements (including correct chemical use and keeping cleaning equipment clean and tidy).
Supervise and support the cleaning team by providing clear communication, leading by example, managing daily tasks, rosters and time, and holding daily meetings. Ensure staff are trained and inducted, competent to do their roles, and have the correct equipment to meet quality and company standards.
Maintain cleaning records and documentation, including cleaning logs, chemicals used, and required paperwork. • Maintain compliance by following SOPs, completing audits as required, and reporting any issues.
Job Requirements
Team leader exp and being able to train others. Previous cleaning experience Reliable and motivated Reliable transport Would consider minor criminal convictions based on nature and age of conviction.
- Days of work
- 6 nights during harvest season (March- June, approx 50 hours) otherwise Monday to Friday out of season (40 hours) (40 hours per week)
