Kiwifruit orchard worker

*** Mid-March start *** Kiwifruit orchard workers are required on a fixed term basis mainly in the Paengaroa, and Pongakawa areas based approximately 10 – 20 minutes south of Te Puke. You will be carrying a picking bag on your front weighing up to 20-25 kgs therefore a good level of fitness is required. You will be on your feet and working above head and shoulders height for long periods of time. This work is weather dependant with up to 5 to 6 days of work available. Closed footwear must be worn on orchard – gumboots and sneakers are suitable. Tools are provided by the employer. Training is provided. You will be required to have secured accommodation within daily distance to the Te Puke area prior to applying.
Job Requirements
Reliable transport and minimum restricted licence if driving self. Will consider minor convictions - excludes serious convictions including assault, burglary / theft and drugs
