Forklift Driver

Have you got what it takes to keep our high-quality produce moving in the right direction? Here at Brownrigg Agriculture, we are looking for talented and reliable forklift operators to be part of our packhouse team.

We operate both a squash and an onion packhouse in the Poukawa valley, 20 minutes south of Hastings or 10 minutes north of Waipawa.

Forklift operators keep our packhouses and harvest moving. This skilled role is crucial for efficient and safe operations. To lock this role down it is likely you will have had previous forklift experience.

We are looking for the best for this key job – you will be aware of what is going on around you, you will be able to deal with pressure, and you will be able to get on with other people. We pay good rates for good people.

You will likely be an experienced hand behind the wheel and ready to get straight to business. Or you might have learnt the ropes and be looking to build your skills – we can help you on your journey by getting your forklift OSH certification sorted.

Our ideal person will have: - The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends - A self-starting attitude - Previous forklift experience - Good communication skills - Reliable transport - A positive outlook

Packhouse and harvest hours of operation can be dependent on field conditions – flexibility is required for both days and hours of work and will include weekend work.

You will need to have reliable transport and be able to work weekends.

Pre-employment drug screening will be carried out.
