Urban Bus Driver
About this job
We are recruiting both experienced bus drivers and people new to the industry. This is a full-time role suited to people who enjoy working with the public and playing an important role in connecting their community. If you are new to the industry, don't worry as we can train you. You need to be willing to commit to a regular rotating roster (once you have finished training and are ready to drive solo) and work with our training team to learn all about the industry and driving buses.
What we offer:
NZ Industry leading pay - qualified driver rates $32.10 per hour.
Guaranteed 80 hours per fortnight; rotating roster set over 7 days.
Paid training to get you on the road and driving busses with a class 2 licence.
A fulfilling role serving your local community, positions available in our Wainuiomata and Lower Hutt depots.

Job Requirements
We are looking for: - A positive attitude and excellent communication skills as you'll be talking with people all day - A safe and confident driver with a full Class 1 licence for at least 2 years and a clean driving record - Someone keen to learn - our training school creates great drivers if you are willing to put in the mahi - P- endorsement (preferred) - Must pass a police vetting - Must pass a drug test
