Production Operator
About this job
This position is based in Te Awamutu 2 positions 8am to 4.00pm and 1 position 12pm to 8am a. Assist in the processing and packaging of products as directed by the Production supervisor b. To report to the supervisor when he or she is unable to compete their duties or when tools provide are not fit for purpose c. Complete necessary in house and external training relevant to meeting the needs of the team. d. To operate, use, maintain and clean various pieces of machinery and equipment safely. e. To use the provided tools, SOPs and practises to create product in accordance of written and oral standards f. Maintain quality of the product being manufactured by monitoring quality standards, following procedure and written and oral standards. g. Identify and highlight any quality and safety issues to the Production supervisor so that further correction action can be implemented h. Manage waste control of processing to ensure minimal waste of product. i. Ensure production order data sheets are completed accurately j. Ensure the cleaning schedule, standards and cleaning documentation completed k. Ensure any other task or practice prudent to the performance, quality or achievement of the team is followed as directed by the supervisor. l. Plus, any other tasks that we may reasonably ask you to complete. m. Contributes to a proactive and positive working culture
Job Requirements
The production operator’s role is that to support the Production Supervisor in the manufacturing process and packaging of products. A production operator should be a team player able to work unsupervised and in a safe efficient manner, ensuring a high standard of quality is achieved. MOJ checks - Case by case basis
