Experience Class 5 Logging Truck Driver wanted based in Tauranga -BOP Region. ***(Must have minimum 4 years Log Driving Experience, minimum 12 hour days travelling to job locations, Opotiki, East Coast, Taupo, Rotorua, Waikato, Thames and Whangamata..***
Drive and operate Class 5 logging trucks to transport logs safely. Ensure secure loading and unloading of logs following industry safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues. Adhere to road transport laws, safety guidelines, and company policies. Navigate various terrains, including off-road forestry tracks and highways. Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel usage, and delivery records. Work collaboratively with loaders, forestry crews, and mill staff. Perform minor truck maintenance and report faults for repairs.
Job Requirements
*Hold valid Class 5 driver license with minimum of 1 years Truck driving experience-logging or level 2 qualification *Pass pre-employment drug test *Pass MOJ check *Able to commit to rostered hours
